Display Size: % of page width, maximum is physical size

Unread post by Ga Bowen »

Sometimes I want an image to fit to the percentage of a page, but in height.

This is because sometimes an image is significantly taller than it is wide and therefore configuring the image in width causes it to run off the page in pdf, or have the need for constantly scrolling in web view.

Could we have a Display Size: x% of page HEIGHT, maximum is physical size?

Sounds logical, but can't really work. The width is a relatively logical value and relates to either the page or a surrounding table cell, but height is something very different. A lot could be written about this, but the TL-DR is that it's been discussed and experimented with at length and it just doesn't work. :?
