Hi again,
this is kind of the opposite to my headings length issue that I just posted:
My captions (directly from image properties) are just as wide as the images they relate to. For small images this means unnecessary line breaks. This is the case both in the editor and in the PDF export. How can i make captions use all the line length there is, even if their images don't?
regards Björn

Re: caption length
Hi Björn,
When you use the caption feature that is part of the image, it is wrapped with the image and cannot get wider than the image. If you want a wider caption, put it in a separate paragraph directly under the image. Optionally, you can include the image and your caption paragraph in a single-cell table to wrap them up. You should also set the paragraph containing the image to "Keep with next" to prevent the caption from being separated from it.
You can also use one of the new Caption Objects, which provide additional features.
