The variable <%TOPICHELPCONTEXT%> appears in the H&M documentation but does not seem to be available in the software's UI.

Seems to work if I type it in manually.

Correct. It can *only* be used in link captions and the Variables tool is not available there, so it would be misleading to include it in the tool.
