We are in the final stages of delivering a hardware/software solution to our first customer.
I need to put together a document that details what is actually being delivered (I expect that there is a name for such a document within a project management framework, but I don't know what it would be).
The subjects I want to cover are:
1) SYSTEM DESCRIPTION: Servers, HW, Configuration & Data
2) MONTHLY UPDATE PROCESS: Process, file descriptions, formats
3) SYSTEM ADMIN; daily, weekly, backups
4) USER/CLIENT MANAGEMENT
5) CUSTOMER SUPPORT: contacts, How/when to get support, etc
6) SLA provided (see our standard contract terms) – what are their obligations
7) Manufacturer's hardware support
Can anyone offer any useful hints and tips regarding this sort of document? I'd be grateful for any input, as I've not had to do this kind of thing before.
