Multi-object select from the object list

Unread post by jgodfrey »

I often create a classic "label" on my screenshots consisting of 3 objects - a rectangle, some text, and an arrow. In order to move these objects to their final resting place, I need to multi-select all 3. If there is a larger background image behind everything, the line object is sometimes hard to select (the background image is selected instead). In this instance, it would be nice to be able to shift-select mutiple objects from the object list...

Good suggestion, this is something I've often wanted myself. 8)

This was already implemented years ago: Just hold down SHIFT and click on the objects you want to select in a group.

Yes that works of course :) But in this case the subject was that in the "Object List" the shift and click combination does not work.
