idxtable -- sort order?

There is a bug in the sort order for the content of idxtables.

Alphabetic sorting seems to be done on the topic ID, instead of the displayed topic title. See attached.

The webhelp index is definitely sorted on the keyword. Can you send me an example to reproduce this strange sort order in the picture?

Just to clarify -- there's no problem with the keyword sorting.

I'm referring to the idxtables, i.e. the third level within the index. These should be sorted on the topic titles, but something is wrong.

As far as I can tell, they are sorted on the topic ID. This means that editing the title breaks the sort order.

Further screenshot attached to make this clearer. Do you still need an example file?

By the way, this project doesn't have a TOC, it is an Index only. So if the sorting is being done on the TOC captions, that may explain the problem.
