screencapture tool problem

Hi,
- i us : H&M version 8
- after opening a topic in my project and placing insertion point inside this topic
- when i try to make a screencapture from this topic :
-- the context dialog comes up
-- when i click "START"
-- but i can no more see my topic file
-- and when i reselect it there is no more screencapture available

Hi Peter,

Are you trying to capture something inside Help+Manual itself? You can't do that, because Help+Manual is the capture tool. If you want to capture something in Help+Manual you will need to use an external tool. For example, open the Impict graphics program with the tool in the Project tab and use its own simple capture tool.

Important: In Help+Manual 8 you will only have Impict if you choose it as part of the installation. If you don't have it just run the installer again and make sure you select Impict as one of the options to install. We also made a couple of important small updates in the last couple of days, so please do get the current version of the installer for this:

Hi Peter,

Ah yes, of course. What's not explained there is that you need to open Help+Manual twice to do this: Once for the capture and a second time as the target of the capture. That should work.
