Hi,
I get these compilation errors when I try publishing WebHelp, but I checked the paths and the files are definitely there.
Regards,
Steve

Re: Compilation Errors.
Hi Steve,
What is your Help+Manual 7 version? You can check this with Help > About Help+Manual. It should be 7.5.4 Build 4760, and if it isn't, the first thing to do is to download the current installer here (it's free) and run it to update:
https://www.helpandmanual.com/downloads.html#oldver
While you're at it, make sure that your copy of HelpXplain is also up to date. This should be 1.8.4 Build 1851, which you can download at the same location.
Please let me know if you continue to have problems.
PS: You're using a (very) obsolete version of Windows (8) that really shouldn't be connected to the Internet because it is far too risky.

Re: Compilation Errors.
Hi Tim,
According to the versions of Help&Manual and HelpXPlain, I have the latest free updates.
I'm not sure why Help&Manual reports my Windows version as 8 because I have 11 installed.
The odd thing is, the compile used to work fine. I'm not sure what has happened. Maybe I should try reinstalling both Help&Manual and HelpXPlain.

Steve

Re: Compilation Errors.
Hi Steve.
Hmm, this is a little strange. I've tried compiling current HX projects with HM 7 and it works fine, so it shouldn't be that. Try the following two things just to be sure (one after the other, not together).

- Open, edit and re-save one of the .xplain projects in the current version of HelpXplain before attempting to export again with your project.
- In your project, go to Configuration > Common > Project Search Path and make sure the folder containing the .xplain project files is on the search path
That's also worth a try. Also restart Windows after doing that.Maybe I should try reinstalling both Help&Manual and HelpXPlain.
