Link or include/distribute PDF

Hi,

I'm sure it is me.

I want a certain PDF to be embedded if output is PDF and linked to (and distributed with) if output is Webhelp.

Clumsy me, I only succeed if I put the PDF into the Baggage directory as well as into the main H&M directory. What am I doing wrong or what is the best way to achieve this?

Hi Gerold,

You need to go to Configuration > Publishing > PDF > PDF Layout and activate the option to embed linked files with specific extensions. Then make sure that *.pdf is one of the extensions there. The project must contain a link to the PDF file, the file must be in a folder in the project search path, and the filename should be short and not contain any spaces or special characters.
