ProjectExplorer re-select after app start

After starting H&M, I expect the last used topic file to be selected in the project explorer in the Project files area. If the topic is not included in the TOC area, this also works. Otherwise, the selection always is in the TOC area - but since I mostly edit topics without a TOC entry, this initial selection in the TOC area is very annoying for me.
I want to start always in the Project files area. Is there any way to realize that?

Equally unfortunately, the chances are currently rather low. You're the only person who has ever asked for this in the last 22 years. So while it's now on the list, I'm afraid it's very far down and chances of it being implemented soon are slim, at best...
