Hi,
We are in the process of implementing Version Control (with git).
All our projects and a style repository were stored on a network drive. They are now located on my PC, where I synchronize them with the git repositories.
The style repository also contains snippets that are used in various projects.
When I open one of the projects on my PC, the style repository associated with the project remains the style repository located on the network drive.
I checked this topic: https://www.helpandmanual.com/help/hm_a ... ching.html
Will I be doing the appropriate thing if I follow the procedure for switching to a copy of the original repository? I must repeat this procedure for all projects linked to a style repository. Is this correct?
Regards,
Sonia Guimond

Re: Switching to a new repository
Hi Sonia,
That's correct. You need to switch to the local repository, and you also need to do this separately for each project. When you de-link the current repository I recommend choosing the option to remove its styles from the project so that you get a fresh copy of the current version when you link to the repository in the new location. Will I be doing the appropriate thing if I follow the procedure for switching to a copy of the original repository? I must repeat this procedure for all projects linked to a style repository. Is this correct?
