Objects greyed out in template editor

Dear H&M users,
I have several objects on my 'Topics' page in the template editor that are greyed out.
They also do NOT appear in the list of objects in Edit > Select Object.
I want to move the page number objects. (See screenshot)
Additionally, there is a stray dotted blue line that also is un-selectable, so I can't delete it.
(I didn't put this strange dotted blue line there! Maybe I pasted it in from somewhere by accident)

Why are these objects 'invisible' to the page? yet, they appear when publishing! (PDF)

Those are objects on the Master page that you have set to be used on the other pages as well. You can edit them in the Master page section. Note also that some objects may be set to display only on even or only on odd pages. You can preview the effect with the options in the View tool, although all objects are always displayed while you're editing.
