Dear H&M User Support
This actually may be a PDF / printing issue and not related to H&M.
When I view a PDF export from H&M it looks perfect!
See screenshot of my 2 page document in Adobe Acrobat view >
Note there are no 'gaps' (white space) at the header or footer of my document.
But when I print the page. it has ugly gaps on each page, first at the bottom of the page, and then the gap is at the top of the next page >
I've highlighted the gap in red, and correct gap in green.
The only thing I can think of, is my paper is not the correct size, but I'm definitely using A4 paper in Australia.
In my H&M template, I've definitely set my page to be A4
Any ideas?
It is really spoiling the professional look of my H&M document.

Re: Large gap on printed PDF alternating bottom then top of page
Hi Steve,
This will be caused by some simple error in the Topics section of your PDF template, possibly exacerbated by settings in your styles in the project itself.
In the project, make sure that you only use the Keep Paragraphs Together and Keep with Next settings for heading styles. If you use them for body text styles you'll create unbreakable blocks of text that won't fit on the page and can cause all kinds of strange artefacts.
In your template check the upper and lower margins in the Topics section, and also the spacing in the six bands containing the headers for topics and the text objects in the bands and in the header and footer. If you continue to have problems, send your .mnl template file to support AT ec-software.com (replace the AT with @) and we'll check it for you.
