Code Snipet with heading

Unread post by Gerold Krommer »

Hi,

kinda embarrassing question  . How did you create the snipx in the SnipSVG 2.1 Help entitled 'Source Code Snippet Example in SVG Format'?

I got as far as a rounded rectangle with the gradient blue fill and the syntax highlighting. But how was the title bar (the 3 dots in the top left and the title 'formatter.cs' created?

Thanks,

Gerold

Hi Gerold,

The title is just a text object using Segoe UI 9pt and light grey. The three dots are literally three dots -- light grey filled circle shapes. 8)

And, if you ever wonder how we did a detail in SnipSVG: in most cases, we publish the SVG files that were created by SnipSVG.

So, when you refer to the blog post about SnipSVG 2.1 (https://www.helpandmanual.com/news/2026 ... -snippets/), the SVG image url for this blog post is
https://www.helpandmanual.com/news/wp-c ... cecode.svg

Download the SVG, save it locally, open with SnipSVG and check it out.
